About Prescriptii

What is Prescriptii?
Prescriptii Canna AI is a free, guided tool that helps Canadian veterans narrow licensed medical cannabis product options based on their symptoms, preferences, and safety profile. It covers 177 licensed products across dried flower, oils, edibles, capsules, and topicals.
Does Prescriptii sell cannabis?
No. Prescriptii does not sell, distribute, or dispense cannabis products. It is an educational guidance tool that helps veterans identify products worth discussing with their healthcare provider.
Is Prescriptii free to use?
Yes. The guided matching tool is completely free, requires no account, and can be used as many times as you like.
Do I need a medical cannabis authorization to use Prescriptii?
No. You can use Prescriptii whether or not you currently have a medical authorization. It's designed to help you research and compare products before or during conversations with your healthcare provider.
Is Prescriptii only for veterans?
Prescriptii was built specifically for Canadian veterans, with conditions, safety considerations, and VAC realities in mind. While anyone of legal age in Canada can use it, the guidance is tailored to veteran needs.

How it works

How does the matching work?
You answer 11 guided questions about your condition, symptoms, timing, format preferences, experience level, and safety considerations. A three-stage scoring engine then ranks products: first by hard exclusion filters, then by condition-terpene affinity scoring, and finally by runtime modifiers based on your preferences. The result is a ranked shortlist with explanations.
How many products does Prescriptii cover?
Currently 177 licensed Canadian cannabis products across five formats: dried flower, oils, edibles, capsules, and topicals. The database is updated periodically.
What conditions does Prescriptii cover?
The matching engine covers 10 conditions commonly reported by veterans: PTSD, chronic pain, insomnia/sleep, anxiety, depression, nausea, appetite loss, inflammation, muscle spasms, and TBI considerations. See our Symptom Guide for details on each.
How long does it take?
The guided intake takes approximately 3–5 minutes. Results are generated immediately.

Privacy and safety

Does Prescriptii store my personal information?
No. Prescriptii does not require an account, does not collect personal health information, and does not store your responses. Your guided match runs in your browser session only.
Is Prescriptii medical advice?
No. Prescriptii is an educational guidance tool, not a medical device or service. It does not diagnose conditions, prescribe treatments, or replace your healthcare provider. Every result includes a reminder to discuss options with your provider.
What safety features does Prescriptii include?
The system flags TBI history, medication interaction considerations, impairment tolerance, and new-user caution. Safety notices appear on relevant results, and every match includes a clinician discussion prompt. Crisis resources (VAC Assistance, Crisis Line, OSISS) are accessible throughout.

VAC and reimbursement

What is the current VAC reimbursement rate?
As of April 1, 2026, VAC reimburses up to $6.00 per gram of dried cannabis (or equivalent), down from $8.50. The daily limit of 3 grams per day is unchanged. See our VAC Coverage Guide for the full breakdown.
Can Prescriptii help me find products within the VAC reimbursement cap?
Prescriptii's matching is based on symptom fit, product characteristics, and safety — not pricing. However, knowing which products match your needs can help you have a more focused conversation with your licensed producer about options within the $6.00/gram reimbursement range.
Do I need VAC coverage to use Prescriptii?
No. Prescriptii is available to any legal-age adult in Canada. VAC coverage status does not affect how the tool works.
Do you have focused guides for anxiety or PTSD-related symptoms?
Yes. You can review the Anxiety Guide and the PTSD-Related Symptoms Guide for more detailed decision-support information built around symptom overlap, timing, and daytime function.
Do you explain product formats or daytime versus nighttime use?
Yes. Veterans can also review the Product Formats Guide and the Daytime vs Nighttime Guide for clearer explanations of onset, duration, timing, and practical use patterns.

Feedback and improvement

How does real-world feedback improve Prescriptii?
Veterans who try recommended products can voluntarily share their experience. This anonymous feedback helps the matching system learn from real-world outcomes rather than assumptions, improving recommendations for future veterans.
Is my feedback anonymous?
Yes. All feedback is anonymous. No personal information is associated with product feedback.
